Is the TFWF open to all ages?

Anyone and everyone! Minors are welcome to attend the Festival in the company of an adult and direct supervision of an adult aged 25 years or over at all times. Children are welcome to attend, there is no dedicated children’s entertainment besides the green grass and trees of the gardens.

Can I volunteer for this event?

Yes, we are always looking for wonderful volunteers who thrive on working with people within an event capacity. Simply send the team an email to ask about available opportunities: hello@thefoodandwinefestival.com.au

Will there be security at the event?

Yes – we have partnered with a well known local security company on the Coast to ensure the event remains safe and friendly for our visitors to enjoy the day – SecurityWorx

Live Entertainment

There will be two stage areas for visitors to enjoy. The main stage area located in the amphitheatre and the unplugged zone located in the sculpture gardens.


Please keep your animal loved ones at home as Mt Penang Parklands is a no pet zone. Guide dogs of course are welcome. Bikes and skateboards are also not permitted.

ID Checks

Any visitor who required an ID check can visit the information booth for a wrist band to confirm over 18 has been checked.

Wine Glasses

Branded wine glasses will be available for purchase for $5.00. This glass is required for tastings and or the purchase of a glass of wine.


Cigarettes including electronic or any type of smoking is not permitted at Mt Penang Parklands. There will be a designated smoking area outside the Parklands.


There will be an ATM on-site for visitors to use, located near the Parklands toilets.

Wheelchair Access

Mt Penang Gardens is accessible to wheelchairs, however, due to the garden’s naturally varied topography, portions of the gardens may be inaccessible.

Will I need to bring cash?

Admission and parking is free to the Festival. Though if would like to go wine tasting, (which we hope you are) – then you will need to purchase the official The Food and Wine Festival 2021 glass for tasting. This is $5.00 and yours to take home as a keepsake.

Where do I get tickets from?

Tickets are available on Eventbrite. It’s recommended you join the Facebook Event for instant updates.

Will the event be cancelled if it rains?

We are unable to assist with mother nature on this one, though in the situation that the event becomes unsafe due to rain then we will cancel the event and notify visitors on Facebook and our website.
Make sure you check for both days as the situation may change.


Parking is complimentary for everyone. Access is via Kangoo Road. We strongly recommend this area for parking as the access with the local traffic lights make exit and entry faster for everyone. Turn at the lights located on the corner of the Central Coast Highway and Kangoo Road.


The vendors are a wonderful mix of food, beer and wine. They will be situated in Food Alley at the Parklands. Bringing your own food and or beverages is not permitted.

Water Stations

Water Stations will be provided complimentary and bottles of water will also be on sale.

Hours of Operation

The gates will open at 11am and service of food will conclude at 5pm.


There are two blocks of toilets available for visitors to use.

Takeaway Sales

Bottles of wine are available for purchase to be taken and enjoyed offsite.


A First Aid Officer will be available at the festival if required. They are located near the main entry.

Covid-Safe Event

We are a COVID-Safe event. To protect yourself and those enjoying the festival around you, please ensure you observe and follow the guidelines as set out by NSW Health.
